Lovely comfort food. You can get options from Bavaria or some local options from around cheimsee. The food and drinks prices were quite good for Bavarian standards and the quality was very high. The portions are big . There are quite a few parking spaces around the restaurant. We also booked a room here to sleep for the night and the check in was smooth and the rooms are very clean and cozy

Just simply a great Bavarian restaurant. Plenty of classic meaty options, but my girlfriend was especially thankful for the vegetarian options on the menu. German cuisine (in the past/traditionally) focused on preparing excellent meat, so finding vegetarian options proved quite difficult. Not here, since they also offer great vegetarian options, like tofu with grilled vegetables and sweet potato rösti. Many thanks from a couple that liked both the meat and vegetarian options!
I'm not sure what people expect from a bed and breakfast in a tiny town in this area - but for the money this place is **fantastic**. The owners are VERY friendly and the breakfast was perfect. The rooms are quaint, yes - not lavishly appointed - but I don't travel to Germany to spend time in a room. The view is spectacular; the food is fantastic; and the couple that owns the restaurant/hotel are extremely friendly. Travel to touristy destinations is painless - Berchtesgaden, Chiemsee, and Salzburg are all easy sub-hour drives.
